At S3Living, we try to make the process of finding your new home in a Continuing Care Retirement Community as painless as possible. We have helped hundreds of families work through this important decision.
It starts with a meeting with one of our expert advisors, who will ask questions and listen to what you have to say. He or she will take time to understand your needs for a retirement community and your goals and hopes for the future.
After that initial meeting, if we think we can help, and you would like to move forward with our services, we will begin our journey together through our three-phase approach of education, guidance and advocacy.
Phase 1: Education
During this phase, we will introduce your family to the wide range of options available for senior living.
We will explain what Continuing Care Retirement Communities can offer residents and the different stages of continuum of care services. We will also help you understand the types of contracts and the complexities of pricing structures within these communities.
We will break down the pros and cons and answer any questions you have about the options.
Our goal during this phase is to provide you with the information you need to make the best decision for your family, with respect to all of the different options that are available to you.
Phase 2: Guidance
Once you understand your options, you will want to take some time to think about whether living in a Continuing Care Retirement Community is right for you.
Your S3Living advisor will help you work through the pros and cons, evaluate your options, prioritize your needs, and answer any questions you may have as you consider this big decision.
We will help you determine which type of community and continuum of care services might best fit your needs.
Phase 3: Advocacy
If you decide that CCRC living is for you, it is time for S3Living to serve as your family’s advocate in the negotiation process with the community you have chosen.
We work with these communities every day and have strong relationships that we will leverage to ensure that you don’t pay too much for your new home and that you receive the amenities and continuum of care services that you desire.
Our fee to represent you throughout the process is $5000. If you choose a community that is part of the S3Living network of communities, the community will pay that fee for you. Please contact us for a current list of our networked communities.
Whether you choose a community that is in our network or not, clients typically find that the initial savings they gain by being represented by S3Living is usually greater than our placement fee.
